Ladder Anode (set of 2)

This pair of ladder anodes (one for each rail) can help slow the corrosion and rust on your in-pool ladder. The anode is made of zinc, a softer metal than the stainless steel on the ladder, causing it to be attached first by the electrolysis. There is no guarantee that using the anodes will prevent all corrosion on the rail. Whether the pool and it's equipment need to be grounded and bonded by a licensed electrician, or a stray current on the property has underlying issues, it is hard to determine. However, if the anode does get "eaten" by corrosion, that will tell you that something else is causing the problem and factors other than the ladder itself comes into play. You can reorder these anodes if necessary depending on how bad the current is.
